Barcelona players Dani Olmo, Pedri, and Eric Garcia took an unconventional approach to celebrating the team’s Spanish league title. After their 2-0 victory over Real Madrid at Camp Nou last Sunday, the trio decided to go for a bike ride through the streets of Barcelona.
Dani Olmo shared the moment on social media, where fans spotted and filmed the athletes during their ride. “One more, lads!” the Spanish midfielder exclaimed.
While the celebration may seem unusual, it’s not a first for Barcelona’s squad. Last year, after securing the La Liga title, Olmo, Pedri, Garcia, and Iñigo Martinez (who was still with the team at the time) visited the hospital to see Ferran Torres, who was recovering from appendix surgery. After lifting his spirits, the four players left their cars in the hospital parking lot and cycled to the team’s title celebration party.
Sunday’s win secured Barcelona’s 29th La Liga title with three games to spare. The team’s campaign stands as their best since 2012/13, boasting 30 wins, one draw, and four losses in 35 matches, with 91 goals scored and 34 conceded.
