Manchester United legend Gary Neville has tipped Arsenal to win the Premier League, but insists the London club are not favorites to lift the Champions League trophy.

Arsenal currently sit top of the Premier League table with 79 points, five points ahead of second-placed Manchester City, who have a game in hand with just two matches remaining. Mikel Arteta’s side have also reached the Champions League final for the first time in 20 years and are set to face defending champions Paris Saint-Germain later this month.

Speaking on his “Sky Sports” podcast, Neville said: “Arsenal have huge momentum right now. They beat Atlético Madrid in the semi-final, watched Manchester City drop points against Everton, and then went on to win at West Ham in that dramatic fashion.”

According to the Metro, he added: “Winning like that feels much more special than a 3-0 victory. You want easy wins, but this kind of result builds confidence, resilience, and momentum.”

Arsenal snatched a hard-fought 1-0 win at West Ham, despite the hosts having a goal disallowed in the 95th minute after a VAR review for a foul on goalkeeper David Raya.

Neville continued: “Arsenal players must be living in a dream world right now. They should feel invincible, like nothing can stop them.”

He went on: “In the Champions League final, they need to focus on their defensive strength and figure out how to overcome a team that is better than them over 90 minutes.”

“Paris Saint-Germain are the better side. You can’t ignore that. PSG are a stronger team than Arsenal at the moment, and they’ve proven it over the last two seasons,” Neville stated.

He added: “For Mikel Arteta, this is a chance to take things to another level. Winning the Champions League would be incredible.”

Neville concluded: “This feels like the right moment for Arsenal to win the Premier League, but it doesn’t feel like the right moment for them to win the Champions League. It looks like the time for Paris Saint-Germain to win back-to-back titles, and for Luis Enrique to cement his place among the legendary managers who have achieved that.”
